PART 2: The riders continue to work down the line of fences, showing steady improvement. Ian Stark shares that this exercise is one he uses for the young horses in his own program, right up to four star horses, as he interacts with auditors. As the horses gains confidence Ian encourages the riders to ride on and increase the speed, which leads to some better quality jumps - a difference the riders can really feel. Ian adjusts one riders bit to remove the gag effect, explaining how this had been causing her horse to lower his head. Without the gag bit, the horse has a noticeably better round.
