In the second video, Helen works in the trot, using the same progression she used in the canter. After transitions within the gait, she works the shoulder in and then adds counter bending in the half pass. With this preparation she can ask for more of a sideways tendency in the half pass. The session ends with a stretchy trot, allowing the mare's back to relax after the work.
