Catherine Haddad brings us a series of Go To lessons for a beginner, and it is done on a lunge line. She uses this method to teach new riders to sit the trot and canter. She has the rider lift her chest and then talks and demonstrates where her knees should be. This lunge horse has great rhythm and bounce and is very steady, providing a great teacher to the rider. Catherine has the rider demonstrate her leg position when she first started riding with her, and how much it has changed in a year. This method of the seat following the motion of the horse means the horse understands they should follow what the seat of the rider does.
