Helen first works on transitions that are through and carrying, and then goes on to the changes. If there are problems with them, she continues to ride forward and straight and corrects it the next time without upsetting the horse. In the walk breaks she lets the mare stretch completely and she shows great relaxation. They return to the trot, thinking of how it can be improved. She gets a more expressive trot with swing, and keeps that swing trough the transitions. This is an amazing opportunity to see one of the world's best riders work with a phenomenal young mare.

Axel Steiner - Uphill Tendency, Part 1
Focus on getting more upward tendency. More carriage and stepping under. Using transitions to gain this upward tendency. Work toward getting immediacy in the upward and downward transition, getting the horse very sharp.
