Debbie points out that her horse begins the canter in a good balance and she has to learn to maintain that. Debbie then works with the Appaloosa now that she has spurs. They work on using the inside leg and outside rein rather than going to the inside rein when he comes off the bit. Debbie has her change how she holds the whip to see if she can get more respect and reaction from him. They work on getting him to think forward first before worrying about being round.
