Bliss gives tips for schooling a horse that is nervous or overly aware of his surroundings. She says it’s about getting the horse comfortable in his surroundings so to help build his confidence, Bliss works him outside the arena and in places where he’s not familiar. She reminds us that the more stressed you are, the more stressed the horse may feel, so it’s best if you can stay relaxed.
