Part 2: Riders jump around a course. Ian challenges them to allow their horses to work out each jump and to ride for a deep jump rather than a big one. Ian works with one rider to stop leaning forward and getting over his hand, and encourages him to have more stillness over the fences. By focusing on staying more upright, the rider is able to move his upper body less and have a better jump. The riders work over a line of six fences on a turn, concentrating on staying upright and interfering less with their horses to get a patting the ground feel.
