Part 2: As Gus Gus is a horse that tends to fall asleep when allowed to stand, Jimmy discusses the importance of waking him up and making sure his brain is working again, and being aware of this when competing. Once the horse is engaged, Sharon works on roll top fences. When the horse is distracted, Jimmy uses this as a teaching opportunity to explain why they didn't repeatedly jump fences he did well, but saved his energy so they could school multiple times in areas where he is weaker. He notes that the horse has a tendency to fall behind the leg and make Sharon sit down to drive him forwards. She works on maintaining her position and getting more gallop from him instead.
