Part 1: Phillip works with riders to create a secure jumping position. He then sets up an exercise to allow the horses to self correct into a fence. Phillip explains the importance of not circling jumps in training and allowing a horse to go to a jump, even if they aren't in stride. This allows them to learn to self correct and practice self preservation at home. Working on difficult fences at speed, Phillip challenges the riders to allow their horses to make mistakes to create better habits.
