Part 2: The rider beings to work over a small jump, still focusing on allowing the horse to stretch. Jane encourages her to have a relaxed finger grip, and let the reins slip when needed, without totally losing connection. They continue to work on riding forward and not grabbing at the horse's mouth. Jane explains to the rider that being soft on the reins reassures the horse that it's safe to stretch. They work over poles and small fences, and Jane continue to encourage the rider to be even and balanced down the reins, and to correct her horse without grabbing his mouth.
