On the second day of the clinic Scott works to help this horse on the right side to make it equal on both sides He gives a great explanation of how riders get into trouble with a young horse when trying to get them straight on the long wall after a turn offering a very workable solution to this problem As they start trotting Scott asks for the mare to be honest to the right rather than showing a false flexion left When having her move off the inside leg Scott has the rider remind the horse for a few steps at a time They work through rising sitting rising transitions at the trot and move her off the right leg again When going to the canter Scott has her make sure she has the right trot for the transition before asking for it They move forward and back in the canter and work in both directions
