Moving into the main barn, Stacia shows us how the horses’ stalls, halters and blankets are set up as well as the wash stall and the tack-up area. She explains the “information center” that includes the horses’ work/schedule lists; the temperature chart; and shipping, veterinarian and farrier lists. She also demonstrates how she creates a horse’s work/rest schedule. Throughout, she points out strategies to prioritize horses’ safety, maximize storage and keep the barn clutter free.
