In this session Ingo Pape watches as a three year old KWPN stallion warms up and talks about the importance of tempo This lovely boy shows a great outline and rhythm in the trot warm up They play with the size of the steps without changing the speed He emphasizes building the transitions within the gaits rather than making them abrupt They do the same exercise in canter remembering to activate the hind leg as they shorten the stride Ingo points out that he shouldnt hurry but take more time and have more swing He shows great stretch in the walk break
