International eventer Tom McEwen uses a course of stadium fences in a variety of ways to help the riders develop their horses’ suppleness and control during this clinic held at Galway Downs Equestrian in Temecula, California. Progressive exercises at the Novice and Training Levels include circles, transitions, bending lines and simple gymnastics that are further tailored to individual horse-and-rider combinations.
Tom was a member of the British gold medal-winning Olympic eventing team in Paris 2024 as well as in Tokyo 2020, where he also brought home the individual silver. Based in Gloucestershire, McEwen was awarded Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2022 for his outstanding services to equestrianism.
