Five-star eventer Ashley Johnson continues coaching Beginner Novice and Novice pairs during a cross-country schooling session. The students school through water, over a mound and jump a corner and a trakehner as well as practice short courses. Also, Ashley explains how to ride a Novice corner and how to use your core muscles to slow a quick horse.
Ashley is a five-star eventer who also competes in dressage and jumping. She is a United States Eventing Association’s Eventing Coaches Program Level V coach, the Area III Young Rider Coach and a ‘r’ eventing judge and technical delegate. Ashley runs a breeding, training and sales business out of her farm in Ocala, Florida.
