When schooling the canter pirouettes, Chrissa has them first work on quarter pirouettes on a square. Chrissa discusses the use of the inside leg during the pirouette to keep him coming. She gives her a focal point for riding the line in and out of the half pirouette, and they demonstrate some very good half pirouettes. The next exercise is the half steps to prepare for the piaffe and passage which he finds quite easy.
