In the walk break Daniel offers great tips on what to do if the horse becomes tense. They return to the flying changes and Daniel helps her with her leg position when asking for the change. The next exercise is to do haunches in on the circle at the canter as an introduction to pirouettes. We get a great opportunity to see how to pick up the reins after a free walk and how important it is to maintain the rhythm in that transition. They alternate between a shoulder in and haunches in on the circle and talk about collecting him while keeping the engine behind. They do a beautiful haunches in on the circle and give him a stretchy break.
