“S” level dressage judge Jodi Ely leads this Second Level Test 3 ride-a-test. Jodi scores each movement as the rider goes through the test. Afterward, she discusses which movements the rider could improve upon, including the transitions, shoulder-in and travers. Jodi has the rider go through the test again, then they work on the medium trot and medium canter exercises.
In addition to being an “S” level dressage judge, Jodi is a USDF gold medalist and an “R” western dressage judge. She is a trainer and competitor in both eventing and dressage with over 55 years’ experience in many different equestrian disciplines. She operates her Trista Farm LLC training business in Minnesota in the summer and Florida in the winter.
