As this rider warms up, Christoph discusses the difference between being behind the vertical with a long or short neck. He has the rider ask the horse to stretch while reaching for the bit. They show a lovely canter on a long rein, including a flying change in that frame. Watch for a great example of an uphill balance on a long rein.
