They return to the trot on the circle, keeping her forward. He has her bend the horse slightly to the outside and then inside, relaxing her. They go to canter, but she shows tension so they go back to the trot and relax before doing the depart. Florian asks her to ride forward in the canter, keeping the canter on a circle. He talks about how they train the young horses to also be able to collect rather than just going for the biggest gait. He pays particular attention to the first stride in the canter depart, asking for it to be in self carriage and in front of the leg. As she starts to relax they can give forward with both hands. He helps them work through her shying in the corner.
