Part 1: Olympian Christopher Bartle opens his session by sharing some of his philosophies about the overlap of the disciplines in eventing and subsequently, his training ideals. He introduces the two riders in the clinic, their wish lists for the session, and sets them off to warm up while he evaluates. He works with one rider to improve her position statement and increase the effectiveness of her aids to better motivate her horse's hand end and have him move over his back. Christopher uses outside flexion to check the acceptance of the outside rein, and as an exercise to improve the corners.
